The Central Virginia Chapter of the National Black Nurses Association (CVC-NBNA) in collaboration with the Opioid Response Network through the Danya Institute will be hosting a free training opportunity for all nurses - LPNs, RNs, and APRNs. Recovery Allyship in Nursing: Best Practices for Substance Use Disorder Care and Treatment will be presented by Sarah Noll, MSN, RN who is an emergency room nurse and nurse educator in the field of opioid response and recovery. This training will be conducted in-person and virtually on Saturday, September 13th from 9:00AM to 12:00NN at 2151 Old Brick Road, Glen Allen, Virginia 23060. CEUs will be available with a certificate of completion. Those attending in-person will receive a Naloxone kit provided by Chesterfield County Substance Use Outreach department. Registration is simple and can be completed using the QR code in the flyer below.
