Long Term Care Division Director

The Virginia Department of Health, Office of Licensure & Certification is seeking a dedicated nursing professional to serve as the Long-Term Care Division Director. In this leadership role, you will oversee all Medical Facilities Inspector Supervisors and their teams focused on nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and other long-term care settings. You will ensure facilities provide safe, high-quality care for Virginia’s most vulnerable populations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage supervisor teams overseeing inspections of long-term care facilities.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and maintain quality standards.
• Develop inspection strategies, training programs, and compliance policies.
• Act as a subject-matter expert and advisor for long-term care regulatory issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to promote safe and effective long-term care services.
